Carsten Pieper Thanks to miler97487 for explaining the band name (because indeed, I was wondering ;-) ) which alludes to the Mellotron and that, of course, says it loud and says it proud "We are playing retro-prog!" And that of the beautiful melodic kind, I might add! miller 97487 mentioned Genesis and Camel, well, of course, but another thing that came to my mind, seconded by both my wife and son, are Pink Floyd! Favorite track: Mushroom.

miler97487 35 Tapes named themselves after the amount of tapes inside a Mellotron M400 so if you want Mellotron you get it here. Anyways wonderful and modest prog by this Norwegian band with influences from the like of Genesis and Camel. These guys don't go for virtuoso showmanship but instead go for a modest blend of melodic symphonic prog with an emphasis on emotion rather than how fast you can play. Great prog worth hearing.
